Angel Chia is the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy, an institute dedicated to enhancing family office ecosystem worldwide. The Academy fosters collaboration, networking, knowledge sharing, and talent development among family office principals and next-gens and SFO executives to strengthen Hong Kong as a global family office hub.

She has over 20 years of financial industry experience in equity sales and trading, asset and wealth management across Taipei, New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with Solomon Smith Barney, ABN Amro, and BNP Paribas. Angel established the Singapore subsidiary for Shenwan Hongyuan and managed its offshore asset management business. She also set up SingAlliance (Hong Kong) as CEO and was Chief Strategy Officer at Fountainhead Partners. Angel founded NexGenerator, a family office accelerator mentoring next-generation principals. Angel was Chair of the Family Office Association Hong Kong prior to joining the Academy.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at National Sun-Yat-Sen University in Taiwan.
