Cindy Chow is currently the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund (AEF). AEF was founded in 2015 with the mission of helping Hong Kong-based entrepreneurs and young people realise their dreams and visions for their businesses and communities. To fulfil this mission, AEF invests into startups and initiates various activities to bolster innovation and entrepreneurship in the community.

AEF has invested in many well-known and high-value Hong Kong technology companies, including the enterprise payment platform Airwallex, digital insurance company AiFT, digital bank WeLab, and healthcare testing company Prenetics.

She is currently also serving on multiple committees, including the InnoHK innovation and research platform, the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) under the Education Bureau, the Occupational Safety and Health Council (OSHC), as well as academic institutions such as CUHK Innovation Limited and the HKUST Accounting Advisory Board.

As an MBA holder and a certified public accountant, Cindy joined Alibaba Group in 2007 and has worked in the financial control and planning capacity, most recently as the Senior Director of International Finance until she assumed her current role. Before joining Alibaba Group, Cindy worked in a number of Hong Kong listed companies, specialising in financing, management reporting and planning.
