HKIA CPD Course on Insurtech – Impacts on the bancassurance model
(jointly organized by ITech Asia Company Limited and The Hong Kong Management Association)

While technological breakthroughs have already changed the way the insurance industries work, the global pandemic has accelerated the pace which businesses needed in providing their customers with a better user experience. There is also the pressing need to deal with industry regulations that come with digital transformation. In this talk, apart from giving an overview of the recent technological developments in various sectors and some key Fintech and Insurtech concepts, our speaker will also cite the different operating models adopted by insurance companies overseas, discuss the impact that Insurtech has on the bancassurance model and the future strategies that may be adopted by the banks and the insurers in such a market segment.

In order to get insights from different perspectives, experienced practitioners from the industry will be invited to exchange views about this topic in a form of a panel discussion, to be followed by a Q & A from the audience.
