Overview
Many famous companies are known for their leadership development and talent management programs. But too often the fame of these organizations rests with a centralized, dedicated function that is devoted to attracting, developing, engaging, deploying and retaining first-rate people. These centralized functions organize highly visible activities—such as leadership programs, in-house conferences, planned training, and so forth—devoted to building bench strengths. Unfortunately, these long-term, broad-scope, strategic efforts do not translate into daily actions by managers in every department of the organization. This webinar focuses on what managers and leaders can do every day to develop talent and building bench strength. The webinar is based on the presenter’s book The leader’s daily role in talent management.
