Testing Hypothesis by Quantitative Methods (II)

Academic research involves systematically collecting and analyzing data to test hypotheses derived from theories. Statistical methods play a crucial role in this process, ensuring effective research question exploration and hypothesis testing.

In the enthusiastically received previous seminar by Dr Luk, various types of research questions and statistical tests were introduced. Building upon its success, the upcoming seminar will further explore the selection of statistical methods and introduce user-friendly software for streamlined statistical testing. Topics covered include:

  • Test of Mediating Effects
  • Test of Moderating Effects
  • Test of Moderated Mediation or Mediated Moderation
  • Statistical Software (SPSS, AMOS, Smart PLS)
