Introduction

The HKMA Institute of Advanced Management Development (AMD) invites executives and senior leaders to join an immersive learning experience exploring the forefront of strategic leadership, agility, innovation, and sustainability.

Through close engagement with leading academics, visionary practitioners, and forward-thinking corporate leaders, participants will gain fresh perspectives on how effective leadership drives organizational success through people, as well as valuable insights into the evolving dynamics of geopolitics and the global economy.

Combining lectures, workshops, visits, and interactive sessions with thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and scholars, the programme delivers an exceptional balance of knowledge exchange, dialogue, and real-world application. It is designed for leaders seeking to achieve meaningful impact through creative and practical approaches to innovation and sustainability, offering perspectives and connections of exceptional breadth and depth.

The 2026 Programme

The programme offers a comprehensive learning and networking experience that integrates academic study, practical exposure, and cultural enrichment. In addition to seminars and talks, participants will visit leading innovation centres or companies, engage with local entrepreneurs, and enjoy thoughtfully curated cultural activities.

A Welcome Reception and Dinner will be held on 7 September, while a Formal College Dinner on 11 September will mark the programme’s conclusion.

Speakers

The programme features distinguished faculty from Cambridge Judge Business School and other departments of the University of Cambridge, joined by prominent business leaders, industry experts, and pioneering entrepreneurs. Together, they will share cutting-edge insights and foster meaningful dialogue with participants.

Visits

Participants will visit some of Cambridge’s most dynamic innovation hubs and campuses, gaining firsthand exposure to successful entrepreneurial practices and transformative ideas.

Cultural Activities

Participants will have the unique opportunity to join a guided walking tour of Cambridge, where expert commentary will offer insights into the historical significance and conservation of the city’s remarkable architecture and planning. Additionally, participants will enjoy a delightful punting experience along the scenic River Cam, providing a memorable cultural highlight of the programme.

Accommodation and Facilities

Accommodation and seminar sessions will be arranged at a University of Cambridge college. In addition to the Welcome and Closing Dinners, complimentary breakfasts, lunches, and refreshments will be provided throughout the programme.

This intensive programme is tailored for senior executives, business leaders, and professionals who are seeking inspiration and are ready to embrace challenges in order to generate new visions, innovative thinking and practical implementation of innovation and sustainability strategies. Past participants have represented a diverse range of sectors and disciplines, including public utilities, finance and investment, entertainment, education, manufacturing, retail, and marketing, to name a few. They encompassed enterprises from both Hong Kong and Mainland China, as well as multinational corporations.

The fee is inclusive of accommodation in a college of University of Cambridge, breakfasts and meals as described in the Programme Schedule. Participants are responsible for arranging their return air tickets to and from the UK and round-trip airport transfers.
