As the Official Representative Office (Asia) for Dr de Bono’s Methods, Sir Dr Peter Low and Mrs Linda Low are the first two of only four persons in the world to be awarded the status of Lifetime Certified Master Trainer by Dr de Bono in January 2002. They have conducted more than 1,600 seminars for executives from major corporations and businesses and governments. They include Senior Medical Consultants who practise under the aegis of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, engineers who work for the MTR (Hong Kong) and the MRT (Singapore), China Light and Power, architects who work for the Housing Development Board (Singapore), senior executives and CEOs from reputable organisations such as the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Daimler Chrysler and other giants in the finance, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and hospitality industries.

Linda and Peter’s Thinking School has been providing parallel programmes to thousands of students and educators since 1992. The skills imparted through their tool-based syllabi serve the students well throughout their primary and secondary school years. In fact, the skills imparted are life skills and will be the same skills that your child will continue to find useful through university and even their careers. For this, Linda and Peter have the testimony of many satisfied parents and students.

The programmes will be delivered by any one of the Lifetime Certified Master Trainers or a Certified Licensed Instructor appointed by Edward de Bono Training Private Limited – Official Regional Centre – de Bono Network.

What Others Say ...

Here are just a few endorsements of some of the most intelligent personalities in the world who have spoken very clearly in favour of Dr de Bono’s Tools for Quality Thinking and Creativity.

When interviewed by a journalist from The Straits Times, June 4, 1997, during his visit to Singapore to speak at the Seventh International Conference on Thinking, Dr PAUL MACCREADY, inventor of the world’s first human and solar-powered aircraft and car, was asked what he would change about education worldwide.

His answer:

“First, I would introduce Edward de Bono’s thinking courses in all schools.”

TOM PETERS, author of In Search of Excellence and one of the world’s most highly respected management gurus, who topped the list of most credible of business leaders?(Straits Times, Monday, February 26, 1996) wrote in his book The Tom Peters Seminar (Macmillan London 1994 pg. 207):

“There are time tested techniques for milking people’s wackier ideas. You’d do no better than to attend one of creativity guru Edward de Bono’s seminars; invest heavily in using such techniques to solve all problems.”

After a convention for Nobel Prize laureates in Korea in 1988 chaired by Dr de Bono, SHELDON LEE GLASHOW, (Nobel Prize laureate for physics) wrote this reference in the book I am Right, You are Wrong, (Penguin / Viking 1990 / Penguin 1991 Foreword pg XVII):

“Dr de Bono’s innovative thinking methods have been tried and tested by many pupils and professionals, and they do seem to help people to be more creative and original. I saw the system in action at an impasse during a seminar of Nobel laureates. When a Random Word was injected into the discussion, (another of Dr de Bono’s thinking tools), the problem was quickly resolved.”

Professor MURRAY GELL-MANN, Nobel Prize (1969), Professor Emeritus of Theoretical Physics at the California Institute of Technology who discovered the quark wrote in his book (The Jaguar and the Quark W H Freeman 1995):

“One can try to escape from the original basin by means of a random perturbation – for example Edward de Bono recommends trying to apply to a problem, whatever it is, the last noun on the front page of today’s newspaper.”

David Perkins from the Harvard Graduate School of Education researched de Bono’s CoRT programme and noted in this book: Outsmarting IQ: the emerging science of learnable intelligence (The Free Press pg 195):

“It is reasonable to conclude that CoRT has considerable impact on thinking… Also, there can be some impact on general measures of intelligence and on school performance… CoRT is straightforward, ingenious, and quite easy to apply. Intelligence can be taught by CoRT.”

“What Edward de Bono is doing to teach people how to think may be the most important thing going on in the world today.”

GEORGE GALLUP Chairman, The Gallup Organisation

“In Du Pont, we have many good examples of how our technical people have applied Dr de Bono’s lateral thinking techniques to successfully solve difficult problems.”

DAVID TANNER PhD Technical Director, Du Pont
