The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Titania Woo (胡志君女士) as Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2022.
Dr Y K Pang, Chairman of the HKMA said: “Titania has been with the Association for over 25 years, during which she has contributed significantly to the work of the HKMA and led many important initiatives that have greatly enhanced the Association’s service offerings and strategic positioning. I have every confidence that under Titania’s leadership, the HKMA will continue to go from strength to strength in the years to come.”
Dr Pang also extended a special thanks to Dr Victor Lee, former Executive Director of the HKMA, for his outstanding leadership over the past 10 years. He has successfully led many positive changes, and broadened the scope as well as strengthened the HKMA’s services and management development programmes, reinforcing the HKMA’s position as a leading professional organization advancing management excellence, while extending the geographical reach of its services to regions beyond Hong Kong.
Ms Titania Woo joined The Hong Kong Management Association in 1995 and was Deputy Director of the HKMA before this new appointment. Over the years, Ms Woo dedicated herself to promoting management excellence and bringing in the latest trends and developments in management thinking to our members and to the Hong Kong business community through the HKMA’s activities including seminars, workshops, awards, conferences and academic programmes which provide a great platform for members and business executives to meet, network and further their knowledge. “It is my greatest honour to be appointed Executive Director of the Association. I look forward to building on the work of my predecessors, and helping to grow and advance the Association’s services which can lead to positive changes in the business community, and our society-at-large,” said Ms Woo.
The HKMA also announced the appointment of Professor Artie Ng (吳偉昌教授) as Academic Dean and Associate Director with effect from 1 January, 2022. Prof Artie Ng was the Deputy Director of the School of Professional Education & Executive Development at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University before joining the HKMA, and is a well-respected scholar with many years of experience in teaching and interdisciplinary research in the field of sustainability.
