The Hong Kong Management Association held its 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, 7 July 2022. Dr Y K Pang, Chairman of the Association reported that the year 2021 was a proud milestone for the HKMA. Although Hong Kong continued to be affected by COVID-19, the HKMA remained agile in delivering its many programmes, courses and events, and achieved major breakthroughs while celebrating its 60th+1 Anniversary due very much to the staunch support and close collaboration of everyone in the HKMA community. “With the dedication of so many talented and experienced people in our community, I have no doubt that our Association will continue to reach new heights in the journey ahead”, said Dr Pang.
The following nine Council Members were elected or re-elected at the Annual General Meeting:

- Ms Mary Huen, Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong; Cluster CEO, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Macau, Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd
- Ms Susanna Hui, Executive Director and Group Managing Director, HKT Ltd
- Prof Randy Lai, CEO, McDonald’s Hong Kong
- Mr Stephen Leung, Chairman, People Development Management Committee, HKMA
- Mr Michael Wu, Chairman and Managing Director, Maxim’s Caterers Ltd
At the Council Meeting held immediately after the Annual General Meeting, Dr Y K Pang GBS JP, Deputy Managing Director, Jardine Matheson Limited was re-elected Chairman of the Association. Mr S K Cheong, Vice Chairman, HK Television Entertainment Company Limited and Prof Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges GBS JP, Chief Executive Officer, The Hong Kong Jockey Club were re-elected Deputy Chairmen.
This year, the Council welcomed a new member, Mr Ricky Wong, Managing Director, Wheelock Properties (Hong Kong) Limited. The full list of the Association’s Council Members can be viewed here.
