THE HONG KONG MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION 2025 HKMA/ HKJC ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON
“Advancing Hong Kong’s Landscape of the Future”

The 2025 HKMA/HKJC Annual Conference was successfully held on 25 November 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre with over 2,000 participants joining physically and online. The Conference brought together prominent business leaders who shared with participants their invaluable insight under the theme of “Advancing Hong Kong’s Landscape of the Future”. Mr Hong-Eng Koh, Global Chief Public Services Industry Scientist, Huawei Technologies delivered an opening keynote speech while the closing keynote speech was delivered by Mr Hans Michael Jebsen, Chairman, Jebsen Group.

In his welcoming address, Prof Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges GBS JP, Chairperson of The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA), stated that the theme, “Advancing Hong Kong’s Landscape of the Future,” is pivotal in our rapidly changing environment. He emphasized that Hong Kong must strategically leverage transformative finance and AI to reshape its industries and prepare for the Intelligent World. Furthermore, enhanced collaboration across the tourism, culture, and entertainment sectors will be key to driving sustainable development and unlocking new growth opportunities.

Prof Edith Shih, Chairperson of the 2025 HKMA/HKJC Annual Conference Organizing Committee and Executive Director and Company Secretary, CK Hutchison Holdings Ltd said in her opening remarks that, “I am confident that today will be both productive and inspiring as you engage with the valuable insights shared by our esteemed speakers and panelists. I encourage everyone to actively participate in the discussions, seize the opportunity to learn from one another, and cultivate meaningful connections that will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of Hong Kong.”

The Presentation of AMD Professors of Practice was also held at the Conference. The three new Professors of Practice this year are:
