With rapid developments in digital technologies, managing the dynamic interactions between organisations and their stakeholders is an exciting yet challenging task for marketers. This course has been designed to explore and develop innovation approaches to digital marketing. It is theoretically robust with an emphasis on applied critical thinking and analysis. On this digital marketing route of our Marketing Masters, you will take specialist modules in Digital Marketing Strategy and Managing Big Data.
Students at Huddersfield Business School are able to gain CIM exemptions whilst studying for their MSc Digital Marketing degree. CIM support, develop and represent marketers, organisations, and the profession all over the world.

This MSc Digital Marketing programme provides a comprehensive study of core marketing principles, with additional focus on digital issues, enabling you to prepare for a career in digital marketing or equip your business with the latest digital marketing strategy. We seek to maximise your opportunity to put digital marketing theory into practice through the use of relevant case studies and projects. The focus of this course is the development of the applied digital marketing leaders of tomorrow.

Enhanced Student Experience with Blended Learning
Modules are taught via blended learning with a combination of face-to-face teaching and interactive online technologies. Blended learning allows students more time to reflect and engage with the modules leading to an enhanced student learning experience.
Attainable in 16 months
Participants can complete the programme in 16 months by completing 7 modules and one dissertation.
Assignment-based Assessment
All modules are assessed through written continuous assessments by the University. Each course will have one or two assignments, for example: essays, case studies or group presentations. The varied assessment methods are focused upon the development of transferable skills which will provide immediate benefit in your future careers.

The University of Huddersfield is a long established and successful university with a long and proud tradition in teaching and research. From its roots in 1825, the University has kept its scientific and mechanical expertise and over the last 190 years has successfully expanded into the arts, business, humanities, education and health sciences. The University now has nearly 20,000 students. It is the UK’s only University where all permanent teaching staff are Fellows of the Higher Education Academy.
The University of Huddersfield has been awarded an outstanding Gold rating, the highest accolade attainable, in all three aspects of the Office for Students’ latest Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). The University secured a Gold rating in both critical categories of student experience and student outcomes, reflecting its unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional student experience and fostering excellent student outcomes. These ratings were awarded in 2023, for four years. The University was the only university in Yorkshire and the Humber and the North West to achieve Gold ratings in all three aspects of the TEF among those announced in September 2023. Only 13 Universities out of the 96 that were announced in September 2023, were Gold in all three ratings.

Details
The programme is conducted through a block teaching mode, fully taught by the University of Huddersfield academic faculty. A supervisor will be assigned to students to maintain close contact with students and to provide professional advice. Students are required to achieve 180 credits for completing the programme, which consists of eight modules including an individual research project in 8,000 words.

Online resources are available at the University of Huddersfield to all University of Huddersfield students. The excellent Online Library service provides relevant articles and journals to facilitate your studies. The hassle-free study environment assists your study whenever and wherever you wish.
Academic Skills Tutors also provide guidance about how you can develop your academic skills in order to improve your grades. The tutors provide support with general academic skills including essay writing, time management, presentations and group work skills; information technology and numeracy; research skills, as well as personal development for example confidence building and assertiveness.

Admission Criteria
- Entry Qualifications
- An honours degree in any subject at 2:2 or above; or
- An equivalent professional qualification.
Applicants who do not hold an honours degree, but possess other appropriate professional qualifications and/or experience will be considered for admission on an individual basis.
- English Requirements
Applicants educated in a language other than English should have an IELTS overall band score of 6.0, with no element lower than 5.5 (or equivalent).
Programme Fees
Total fees for the whole programme are HK$92,500 to be collected in 6 instalments. Students should note that all fees are subject to review and may be changed by the University.
