- The course consists of core and major modules, totaling 7 modules. Each module comprises 30 hours, with 10 classes per subject, each lasting 3 hours, for a total of 210 hours of study.
- After completing each module, participants will take assessments. Those who pass the internal assessments and have an attendance rate of 70% or above in the relevant modules will receive a certificate from the Hong Kong Management Professional Association.
- Study Duration: Participants must complete the diploma programme within one year (3 terms), including 5 core modules and 2 major modules, and will receive 7 individual certificates as well as a “Professional Diploma in Management” issued by the association.
- HKDSE/HKCEE or an equivalent qualification; or
Graduates of the Yi Jin Programme; or - Secondary school graduates or higher; or
- Mature students aged 21 or older who wish to pursue further studies, regardless of educational background.
The programme runs three terms each year, with classes starting in April, August, and November.
The programme features a blended learning model, combining in-person and online classes. Please refer to the timetable and enrollment form for details.
Attendance Requirements: Participants must attend at least 7 classes for each subject to be eligible for the exams.
Classes are conducted in Cantonese, supported by teaching materials in Chinese or English.
Tuition is calculated per term based on the modules taken, and payment must be made at the time of registration along with the enrollment form.
- Core Modules: HK$3,150 per module
- Major Modules (Human Resource Management / Digital Business / Business Management): HK$4,200 per module
- A maximum of 2 modules can be exempted from each course. If the application is successful, the applicant will be exempt from attending classes and internal assessments for the approved modules, and a proportional refund of the module fees will be issued.
- To qualify for exemption, the module(s) previously completed must be equivalent in level to the corresponding course(s) in the current programme. Applicants must submit detailed course outlines/syllabi and copies of relevant certificates/official transcripts. Applications submitted without this documentation will not be processed.

Graduates of the Professional Diploma in Management programme are eligible to apply for admission to the following Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes offered by various prestigious overseas universities in association with the HKMA.

- Students applying for degree programmes must meet the admission requirements of the respective Universities, such as educational qualifications. Admission decisions are at the discretion of the University.
- Admission criteria for the MBA programme at Wrexham University: Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements: hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, possess a professional qualification, or have at least two years of relevant management and professional experience. Admission is determined by the University.
- Individual employers may exercise discretion in recognizing any qualifications that students may obtain from these courses.

- Mail Application: Please complete the application form and send it along with the tuition fee by crossed cheque (made payable to “The Hong Kong Management Association”) and relevant transcripts to the Programme Secretary at The Hong Kong Management Association, 16/F, Tower B, Southmark, 11 Yip Hing Street, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong, before the application deadline.
