Entering Categories and Eligibility

The Best Practices Award welcome organizations from all industries, both local and international, to submit their campaigns, projects or plans that are enhancing the TQM. Each submission must specify one or more TQM dimensions it focuses on, in alignment with the Seven Criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Organizations are welcome to submit a maximum of 2 entries. The TQM dimensions are:

    Category Eligibility
  1. Business/Non-profit Organizations
    		2.  Organization that employs more than 100 persons
  2. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
    		3.  Organization that employs no more than 100 persons
  3. Start-ups
    		4.  Any organizations that have been established for no more than 5 years, non-listed and received less than US$15 million in funding by application date
  4. Non-governmental Organizations (large)
    		5.  NGOs under Section 88 or IRO are exempt from profits tax in HK that employ more than 100 persons
  5. Non-governmental Organizations (small)
    		6.  NGOs under Section 88 or IRO are exempt from profits tax in HK that employ no more than 100 persons
  6. HKSAR Government Departments (large)
    		7.  Government departments that employ more than 1,000 persons
  7. HKSAR Government Departments (small)
    		8.  Government departments that employ not more than 1,000 persons
  8. Statutory Bodies (large)
    		9.  Organizations included in the government’s list of statutory bodies that employ more than 100 persons
  9. Statutory Bodies (small)
    		10.  Organizations included in the government’s list of statutory bodies that employ no more than 100 persons
