Management Accounting is an increasingly management oriented approach to analyze data so as to facilitate management in the process of controlling the effectiveness of operations at present and decision making for the future.

The management approaches and techniques of Management Accounting in a sophisticated way have been developed and validated as especially relevant in accomplishing the management process of budgeting and planning with long term effectiveness.

This course aims to provide participants with an understanding to perform financial analysis and planning for making business decisions. It will focus on analytical skills and tools for financial statement analysis in assessing the companies’ financial position and performance. In addition, it will also focus on core knowledge of conceptual framework of financial management in an effective and logical manner; quantify benefits in the future under fundamental assumptions such as forecast cash flows in the appraisal of capital projects and justify decisions on investment so as to ensure that economic consequences of the investment and financing commitment over a relatively long period of time secured added value/wealth to the company
