Overview

Based on the study of US scholar, Kim Cameron whose empirical findings reveal that a positive leader should possess four positive elements on facilitating communication, aspiration, relationship, and climate at work. This act of positive leader contributes to building a strong team and work environment to withstand uncertainty and adversity.

The course will examine the behaviors of leaders in facing a VUCA world, competencies on future leadership, strategies of Positive Leadership, and the management tools on driving results through team.

Objectives

  • Be aware of the VUCA world and its underlying drivers
  • Understand the competencies of future leader
  • Acquire knowledge on design thinking in delivering value
  • Develop and apply 4P-strategy of Positive Leadership
  • Use of proper performance management to monitor results

Programme Leader

Mr Chris Chan is a training award winner with over 20 years of people and organizational development in MNCs. He held senior learning and development positions in AIA, SmarTone Telecommunications, China Construction Bank (Asia) and Hang Seng Bank, etc. He is also a Registered (Industrial & Organizational) Psychologist, and a Chartered Psychologist (UK).

Chris applied the contemporary psychology like positive and behavioral psychology to conduct courses for 1,000 executives and sales managers with positive feedback in leading others & business effectively. He has been coaching a considerable number of talent staff in winning awards by local and overseas organizations. These awards include but not limited to Excellence in Training Award, Distinguished Trainer Award, Distinguished Sales Award, Best Financial Planner Award, and Service & Courtesy Award, etc.
