There has generally been a higher expectation of legal knowledge and quality of service rendered by Owners’ Corporation and Property Management service providers in recent years. This workshop aims to provide attendants with an introduction of legal knowledge essential to property management practitioners, including but not limited to the key provisions of Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap. 626), the Building Management Ordinance (Cap. 344) and other general legal duties and obligations, depending on the circumstances, that may be owed by the Owners’ Corporation and/or the Property Management service providers to building occupants or visitors. Latest and key developments in relevant areas would be discussed with reference to the latest statutory provisions and leading case authorities.
