Adverse Weather Arrangements - Certificate and Diploma Programmes
Class arrangements as announced by the Education Bureau due to adverse weather conditions DO NOT apply to HKMA programmes / courses. Under adverse weather conditions announced by The Hong Kong Observatory and/or extreme conditions announced by the Government, the following HKMA arrangements shall prevail:
(I) Before Classes / Examinations Commencement:

| (i) When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above / Extreme Conditions is in force / likely to be ISSUED | 1. At or after 7:00 am | Morning sessions of classes / examinations that are held between 8:30am and 1:59pm will be cancelled1. |
| 2.At or after 12:00 noon | Afternoon sessions of classes / examinations that are held between 2:00pm and 5:59pm will be cancelled1. | |
| 3.At or after 4:00 pm | Evening sessions of classes / examinations that are held after 6:00 pm will be cancelled1. | |
| (ii) When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning / Extreme Conditions is LOWERED | 1. At or before 7:00 am | All classes / study group meetings / examinations will be held as scheduled. |
| 2. At or before 12:00 noon | Afternoon sessions of classes / examinations from 2:00pm or thereafter will be held as scheduled. | |
| 3. At or before 4:00 pm | Evening sessions of classes / examinations from 6:00pm or thereafter will be held as scheduled. | |
| Black Rainstorm Warning | Actions to be Taken | |
| When Black Rainstorm Warning is in force | 2 hours before scheduled class / examination time | All classes / study group meetings / examinations will be cancelled1. |
(II) Classes / Examinations that have already started:
