
Being the only award of its kind in Hong Kong in the past three decades, the HKMA Award for Excellence in Training and Development, organized by the 2025 Training Awards Organizing Committee, 2024/2025 People Development Management Committee and 2024/2025 People Management Committee of The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA), celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. The award has the pleasure to give significant recognition to the human resources development professionals and trainers for their achievement and devotion in cultivating more talents in the business sector.
The Final Judging took place at the HKCEC on 21 August 2025. HKMA had the honour to have Prof Jacob Kam JP, Chief Executive Officer MTR Corporation as the Guest of Honour to kick off the event and delivered the keynote speech on “The Journey of Leadership: Talent Development for Future Leaders”.
After Prof Kam’s enlightening sharing, the organizer had the pleasure of announcing the awardees of the Distinguished Trainer Awards and Outstanding New Trainer Awards.

Besides the keen competition, HKMA Talent Development Fund Presentation Ceremony and HKMA Business Simulation Competition for Secondary School Students Award Presentation were among the highlights of the event. Talent Development Fund provides financial support to business executives to pursue academic advancement through world-class management-related education and training programmes.
