
The Hong Kong Management Association held its 65th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, 2 July 2026. At the Council Meeting held immediately after the Annual General Meeting, Prof Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges GBS JP, Chief Executive Officer, The Hong Kong Jockey Club was re-elected Chairperson of the Association. Mr S K Cheong, Vice Chairman, Hong Kong Television Entertainment Co Ltd and Chairman, Hong Kong Economic Journal Co Ltd and Prof Randy Lai, CEO, McDonald’s Hong Kong were re-elected as Deputy Chairpersons, while Mr Jacky Chan, Regional Chief Executive, AIA Group and Prof Susanna Hui MH, Executive Director and Group Managing Director, HKT Ltd were newly elected as Deputy Chairpersons. “Despite continuing global uncertainties and local market adjustments, HKMA has stood firm and made significant progress.” said Prof Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges.
The following seven Council Members were elected or re-elected at the Annual General Meeting:
- Mr Elton Chan, Director, Jardine Matheson Ltd
- Ms Jasmine Lee, Managing Partner, Hong Kong & Macau, Ernst & Young
- Mr Thomas Leung, Assurance Partner and Senior Relationship Partner, PwC China
- Prof Edith Shih, Executive Director & Company Secretary, CK Hutchison Holdings Ltd
- Prof Kent Wong, Managing Director, Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Ltd
- Prof Peter Wong, Managing Director, The Hong Kong and China Gas Co Ltd
- Mr Ricky Wong MH, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Wheelock Properties (Hong Kong) Ltd
This year, the Council welcomed two new members, Mr Joseph Law, Managing Director, CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd and Ms Jeny Yeung JP, Chief Executive Officer, MTR Corporation Ltd.
