While the impact of the pandemic continues to reverberate, there are many signs pointing to the beginning of an economic recovery.
The coming years will be particularly critical, as businesses seek to reposition themselves in the new normal and recapture business
and market share. On this unprecedented, unfamiliar road to recovery, businesses will need agile and innovative marketers, to help
them effectively communicate with and persuade their target audiences.

I am very proud to see so many bold and innovative marketing campaigns in this year’s HKMA/ViuTV & Now TV Awards for Marketing
Excellence. It clearly demonstrates the remarkable professionalism and resourcefulness of Hong Kong’s marketing industry. These
talented professionals will play key roles in our city’s economic recovery.

I congratulate all winners of this year’s Campaign and Individual Awards for their outstanding achievements. They are an inspiration
to us all.
I wish to sincerely thank our dedicated Panel of Judges, the Board of Examiners and Awards Organizing Committee. My special
appreciation goes to Mr S K Cheong, Chairman of the Marketing Awards Organizing Committee, for his enormous contributions
to the Awards.

My deepest gratitude goes to ViuTV and Now TV for their continuous support and effort in promoting marketing excellence; and all
the Special Awards Title Sponsors, Corporate Sponsors and Supporting Organizations for their unwavering support to the Awards.

This year, we have the honour of having The Hon Algernon Yau Ying-wah JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development,
of the HKSAR Government, as our Guest of Honour. He will share with us his special knowledge and insights at the Awards
Presentation Dinner.
