AI in marketing is the use of customer data, machine learning and computational techniques to explain customer behaviour and predict action. It can take on an overwhelming amount of data which poses challenges in handling and interpretation. Nowadays, AI systems work on the background of popular products and services such as Google, Youtube, Amazon and Tao Bao. In the past few years, AI has paved its way deeper into marketing, helping brands to enhance every step of the customer journey. The course showcases several machine learning techniques to solve common marketing problems, including web data scraping, customer segmentation, purchase pattern analysis, trend detection, text data analysis and sentiment detection.
