Legal Awareness in Workspace

This workshop aims to provide a “one-stop shop” to concisely cover the basic essentials of some legal topics that executives may commonly come across in workspace, from preventing potential criminal offences such as cybercrime and bribery, to the handling of complaints of discrimination, and from dealing with employee’s compensation in relation to injuries in the course of employment to the proper use and collection of personal data. This workshop would also touch upon recent amendments in Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and Sexual Discrimination Ordinance (Cap. 480). Latest and key developments in these areas would be discussed with reference to recent court judgments and other relevant materials.
