In recent years, the world has faced unprecedented challenges. Yet we can all be proud of the strength and resilience of our city,
Hong Kong, in weathering the storms. Hong Kong’s business community is one of the strongest and most agile in the world; and,
all sectors are now pulling together to achieve a solid and sustained recovery.
On this uncharted path towards a “new normal,” Marketing plays an essential role with their creative capabilities and unique
contributions, including forecasting market trends and consumer needs, and expertly communicating important information to
target audiences.

The Awards for Marketing Excellence was established in 1985 to recognize and honour organizations and individuals with
outstanding achievements in Marketing, who boldly break barriers, raise standards and create new ideas and practices; all qualities
which are especially needed in these challenging times.
This year marks the third year of HKMA’s partnership with ViuTV & Now TV in organising this powerful and popular Awards platform,
to showcase the best-of-the-best of Hong Kong’s Marketing talents.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Panel of Judges, the Board of Examiners, the Awards Organizing Committee, the
Marketing Management Committee, and the newly-formed Chief Marketing Officer Committee for their invaluable contributions;
and a speical thanks to Mr S K Cheong, Chairman of the Marketing Awards Organizing Committee, for his dynamic leadership.

I am deeply grateful to our many Sponsors whose generous support make this annual event possible, and wish to thank our Special

I congratulate all winners of this year’s Awards for Marketing Excellence. Your remarkable achievements set you apart in a highly
competitive field, and you are an inspiration to us all.
This year, we are honored to have Professor Harry Shum, Council Chairman of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology,
as our Awards Ceremony Guest of Honour. He will be sharing with us his insights on AI, the next frontier in business technology.

As we embrace the journey towards sustained economic growth, let us celebrate the resilience and innovation demonstrated by
Hong Kong’s Marketers and businesses and work together for a brighter and more prosperous future for our city.
