It is a distinct honor to gather once again for the HKMA / ViuTV & Now TV Awards for Marketing Excellence. This prestigious event

in the past year.

This year, our finalists have truly raised the bar, embodying the key themes that define our era. They have shown a strong
commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, aligning their strategies with the growing consciousness of consumers
towards a more sustainable future. They have effectively harnessed technology, leveraging digital platforms and AI to redefine
customer engagement, and they have connected deeply with their audience through cultural mobilization and localization,
tapping into local trends and culture. These trends are a testament to resilience, innovation, and cultural sensitivity of the
marketing industry, and we applaud our finalists for leading the way.

In a time marked by global challenges yet brimming with potential, the role of strategic marketing has become more pivotal
than ever. Our finalists have shown remarkable agility in seizing these opportunities and contributing to Hong Kong’s resilient
economy. Their hard work and innovation not only drive their respective brands forward but also contribute significantly to our
city’s growth and prosperity.

We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to our guest of honor, Professor SHUM Heung-Yeung, Harry – Council
Chairman, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, for his invaluable insights shared with us today. Our sincere gratitude
also goes out to the judges, examiners, and committee members who have facilitated this convergence of innovation. Your passion
and vision underscore the transformative power of marketing in driving positive change in Hong Kong.

As we conclude this event, we look forward to the future of marketing in our city with optimism and excitement. The future
