LLM International and Commercial Law offered by University of Greenwich helps build student’s legal knowledge in general, with focus on commercial, intellectual property and competition laws. The key factor for my enrolment in this programme was to develop knowledge in intellectual property law and competition law, which were not covered in my LLB studies. Students may tailor their studies to their interests through independent research on the dissertation topic of their own choices. It is set to be completed in one year and was a perfect fit for my short-term career goal – I highly recommend it!

This LLM programme offered a unique blend of academic depth and practical relevance. As a senior finance professional, I found the modules on ‘Banking and Finance Law’ and ‘Corporate Law’ particularly beneficial. The curriculum not only broadened my legal understanding but also deepened my appreciation of regulatory frameworks and financial governance. Throughout the course, I gained valuable insights that I now apply directly in my professional duties, especially in areas of compliance. The faculty’s expertise and the personalised guidance throughout my dissertation were invaluable, enhancing both my analytical and critical thinking skills. I encourage professionals seeking to elevate their legal competence and develop a more robust, practical perspective to consider this transformative programme.
