                  COVID-19 continues to affect the entire world which is going through a reset, and everyone is taking time to re-prioritize what is
                  important for themselves. For the business community, the pandemic has put the nature of brands, their true character and their
                  core values under the microscope, presenting marketers with significant new challenges which, at the same time, turns into an
                  opportunities to deepen relationships and meet consumers’ evolving needs by adopting a fifth P – Purpose, on top of the four
                  Ps of marketing - Place, Price, Product, and Promotion. Over the last couple of years, we have seen more brands starting to focus
                  on genuine purpose-led marketing which feature authentic responses to ongoing social and economic issues that are deeply
                  resonant with the brand’s purpose.

                  36 years into the purposeful journey of bestowing honour and public recognition on individuals and organizations that have,
                  through outstanding marketing programmes, broken barriers and raised the standards of the marketing profession in Hong
                  Kong, the HKMA/ViuTV & Now TV Awards for Marketing Excellence, with the new title sponsors, will continue to be a beacon that
                  advocates and promotes state-of-the-art marketing practices. To this end, I wholeheartedly congratulate all the awardees for their
                  perseverance in striving for breakthrough during such difficult times.

                  On behalf of the Association, I would like to extend our grateful thanks to our dedicated Panel of Judges and Board of Examiners,
                  for their wisdom and energy in the stringent judging process. I would also like to express my special gratitude to Mr S K Cheong,
                  as well as his fellow members of the Organizing Committee and the Nomination Committee for making the Award yet another
                  great success. We are also very appreciative of the generosity of this year’s Title Sponsors, ViuTV and Now TV as well as the Special
                  Awards Title Sponsors, Corporate Sponsors, Final Judging Equipment Sponsor, Award Seminar Wi-Fi Sponsor and Supporting
                  Organizations.

                  Last but not least, my special gratitude goes to our Guest of Honour, Professor W K Alfred Chan BBS, Managing Director of The Hong
                  Kong and China Gas Co Ltd for sharing with us his insights at the Award Presentation Ceremony.
