HKMA/ViuTV & Now TV Awards for Marketing Excellence 2021
The outbreak of COVID-19 has re-emphasized the importance of agility in adapting business models and operations to
unprecedented circumstances. Accurately recognizing consumer’s new needs and pain points in totally changed circumstances
has become a marketer’s new must-have skill. But no matter how the product or service or mode of distribution or delivery may
change, it is heartening for marketers to know that strong brand equity will always engender consumer trust and make the hard
job of catering to new consumer requirements and attitudes that much easier.
In this era of change, we are constantly presented with new ideas and possibilities. This year, the Awards have started a new chapter
with the inaugural partnership with ViuTV and Now TV as the title sponsors of the Awards. We welcome this new partnership and
thank ViuTV and Now TV for their enthusiastic support. We look forward to mutually benefiting from our cooperation in continuing
to build the Awards for Marketing Excellence as a prestigious platform for marketers to share ideas and achievements and to learn
from each other.
This year, the Awards are blessed with a record high number of entries and a breadth of innovation and use of technology that
continues to give us much to reflect upon. I would like to congratulate all the Campaign and Individual Award winners on their
distinguished achievements. Their excellence and innovation once again inspires us and we sincerely salute all of them.
I would like to thank the many organizations that support the Awards as Special Award Title Sponsors, Corporate Sponsors, Final
Judging Equipment Sponsor, Wi-Fi Sponsor and as Supporting Organizations.
My heartfelt thanks also go to members of the Panel of Judges, the Board of Examiners as well as to fellow members of the Awards
Organizing Committee and the Nomination Committee. They have all devoted much valuable time and the wisdom of their vast
experience to promote excellence in marketing.
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to express my utmost gratitude to our Guest of Honour, Professor W K Alfred Chan BBS,
