The programme aim to help the students to understand and enter the IT and business profession with the necessary knowledge. Topics covered: computer networks and systems, website design and database development, and the Essentials of Management and eBusiness.
Students who have successfully completed the Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology may go directly to Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Business Information Technology.

Due to current COVID-19 situation, the mode of instruction might be changed from face-to-face to online teaching if necessary in the event that face-to-face classes cannot be held. The Association will contact the students concerned with details of such arrangements as necessary.
The overall aim of the programme are to provide students with the skills for further study in the IT and Business domain and to introduce skills which can be used in employment, including lifelong learning skills; to provide students with practical skills and a strong theoretical underpinning in the area of networks, databases and websites in a business context. Candidates will be given the opportunity to develop essential thinking and study skills in IT and through a balance of academic and vocational subject.
The programme comprises 3 semesters including the following modules:

- Holder of Hong Kong Permanent ID Card, and
- A good working knowledge of the English language is vital, and
- Applicants should be holders of the NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Business, Level 3 Diploma in Computing or the Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies qualificaitons, or
- Holders of equivalent qualifications (e.g. diplomas and certificates in computer studies) will be considered for admission.
