Introduction
To recognize the outstanding services of the late Mrs Susan Yuen to industry and commerce in Hong Kong, members of The Hong Kong Management Association and the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, on the occasion of her retirement as Chief Executive of the two organizations, established the Susan Yuen Fellowship and Research Foundation.
The aim of the Foundation is to provide financial support for in-service executives to attend practical management courses.

Terms and Conditions
All applications to HKMA Susan Yuen Fellowship & Research Foundation Scholarships 2024 shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Applicants shall provide true, accurate, current, and complete information in the Application Form and Programme Enrolment Form. Otherwise, HKMA reserves the right to suspend or terminate the application.
- HKMA may request additional information or documentation in support of the application.
- Applicants may not change their chosen programme once they have submitted their Application Form, unless they are advised to do so by HKMA.
- In case of cancellation of a programme, applicants may choose another programme of equivalent level only, in the list of programmes provided by the Scholarship.
- Scholarship approved or disbursed are not transferable, negotiable, and redeemable for cash or other substitutions.
- Scholarship approved or disbursed do not apply to retake, remedial, appeal and/or retention fees.
- Scholarship will be disbursed to recipients by instalments for Advanced Diploma and Professional Diploma Programmes. Details will be provided to successful applicants accordingly.
- Successful applicants will be invited to attend the Presentation Ceremony in Year 2025.
- HKMA reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the Scholarship without prior notice.
- In case of dispute regarding the Scholarship, HKMA reserves the right to final decision which is binding.
- The Scholarship does not apply to any programme in which the applicant is already enrolled.
- The Scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or privilege offered by HKMA.
- The Scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with Continuing Education Fund (CEF) for the same programme.

Applications for the Scholarships are open to
- Permanent residents of Hong Kong and aged 25 or above
Vetting of Applications
Applicants have to fulfill the entrance requirements of the respective programmes and applicants will be assessed on a competitive basis. Applicants will be screened to ensure that their academic qualifications and career background will enable them to benefit from the courses. Higher priority will be given to first-time applicants.
How to apply
Those who are interested are required to complete the application form and return it together with the course enrolment form and photocopies of relevant certificates to The Hong Kong Management Association, 16/F, Tower B, Southmark, 11 Yip Hing Street, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong, on or before 30 November 2024 (Attention: Susan Yuen Secretariart). Do not enrol in the designated course in advance before applying for the scholarship. They are also required to write a short essay, either in English or in Chinese, of at least 300 words on the reasons for seeking a scholarship and state how the scholarship will further help your development. Successful applicants will be notified of the results in writing.
